My name is Sjúrður Samuelsen and I am the founder and manager of Studio Pløyens, a mixing/mastering studio,  based in the heart of Tórshavn - the cultural capital of the Faroe Islands.

I’ve had a lifelong passion for music, and I have been deeply involved in the unique and secluded Faroese music scene for over a decade. Throughout my career I have worked with a number of different artists from various different backgrounds and genres of music – from the angry and rebellious, to the heartfelt and generous. This has taught me everything that I know about the science and art of music.

I encourage you to check out the examples provided below that demonstrate my work, while also giving a glance at what the Faroese music scene has to offer. I offer all new clients a Free Test-Sample to demonstrate what I can do. The Test-Sample is completely free of charge with no strings attached (I prefer a No-Nonsense approach to business).
